DIRECTOR/ACTOR - MICHAEL

This is Michael's first experience directing a full-length fan film project. He performed stand-up comedy for troops in Iraq in 2009. His Philadelphia credits include: “A Midsummer Night’s Dream” (Gremlin) and “Arsenic and Old Lace” (Rev. Dr. Harper).
Michael became interested in Star Trek as a child. It was one of the few TV shows his Mom allowed him to watch during weekdays. The interest grew through the years and he even attempted a fan film in 4th grade!
"My goal is to direct a fan film that is true to the look and feel of the Star Trek TNG/DS9/VOY universe. I want to create a positive environment for the cast and crew to share in that vision. This is a chance for us to contribute to the Star Trek universe and 'be a kid again.' Now with HD cameras, state of the art editing and effects available to us we can do a little more than the first fan film I attempted in my parent's living room! If everything goes right, the audience should walk away and say, 'Wow, how'd they do that! Cool!" - Michael

ACTOR - MONICA

When Monica was nine she was paid twenty dollars to run around and sing drinking songs with her mother in an interactive dinner theatre. In ninth grade, she made a fool of herself in her high school's dance club. Throughout middle and high school she devoted herself to her high school's stage crew, doing anything from hanging lights to painting sets to crawling into tight spaces. She also volunteered at the Pleasantville Community Theater as part of the stage crew, and worked very briefly for the Logrea Dance Company (again as a stage hand). Monica's latest costumed adventure involved showing up at a tea house in full Victorian costume, including British accents (http://blog.silvertipstea.com/2010/09/12/back-in-time/)
Monica is a pretty new trekkie. Her mother brought home some Original Series DVDs from the library a few years ago, and her world has not been the same since.
